Are you at risk for Osteoporosis?

Osteoporosis leads to decreased bone strength and increases risk for fractures.

Here at Grossman Imaging Centers we have four MRI scanners to meet all of your conventional and advanced MR imaging needs. With our state-of-the-art MR technology systems we are able to provide your physician with important information that will assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. With four MRI scanners we can accommodate same day appointments for your convenience.

Having the first Open MRI in our County has allowed us to provide imaging services in a pleasant comfortable setting to claustrophobic patients.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses a powerful magnetic field, radio waves, and a computer to produce detailed pictures of the body's internal structures that are clearer, more detailed and more likely in some instances to identify and accurately characterize disease than other imaging methods. It is used to evaluate the body for a variety of conditions, including tumors and diseases of the liver, heart, and bowel. It may also be used to monitor an unborn child in the womb. MRI is noninvasive and does not use ionizing radiation.

Advanced Imaging Available:

  • Cardiac MRI

  • Bilateral Breast MRI with computer assisted diagnosis (CAD)

  • MR-guided breast Biopsy

  • Open MRI

  • Head and Neck

  • Musculoskeletal and sports injuries

  • Neurologic spectroscopy of the brain

  • MRCP (magnetic cholangiopancreatography) enables rapid evaluation of the biliary tract, pancreatic duct and gallbladder without the use of contrast, instrumentation or radiation.

  • Breast spectroscopy

  • Non-contrast imaging

In addition, Grossman Imaging Centers has an Open MRI which has allowed us to provide imaging services in a pleasant comfortable setting for claustrophobic patients.
